Priority Escapes Saved the Day

A dream trip to The Standard, Maldives was booked in December 2022 for 23rd April 2023. Priority Escapes had a win with regular direct flights from Johannesburg to the Maldives by way of Seychelles, which had to be better than flying by way of Dubai or Doha. Thus, we were shocked when we received an email from Priority Escapes on the 4th April, advising us that Air Seychelles had declined landing rights to Air Seychelles for April & May and we would now have to fly Emirates by way of Dubai. This was disappointing, but the R6000 total difference in airfares for our party of four sounded fair and I duly paid this. Subsequently, things went like clockwork. The flights were great, everything that had been requested was done and we had the most amazing time. We were treated like royalty at The Standard, Maldives, where nothing was too much bother. This was probably one of the best trips ever - so many, many thanks to Francois and Paige at Priority Escapes for "making it happen" under what had to have been exceptionally tough circumstances....
