Priority Escapes

<div>I would like to share my most unsatisfactory experience with priority escapes In November 2022 we booked a holiday to Maldives with the Black Friday deal and full payment was made to them at the time and we were looking forward to this holiday as I was to celebrate my birthday on this beautiful island. Unfortunately we received an e-mail advising that this island was going through some renovations and that we had an alternative option of 3 other resorts to choose from. This is where my battle began. When we opted for the first resort that was not available then we opted for the second and again not available and with no other choice we said ok for the third and goodness gracious this too was not available This had already dampened my dream holiday. At this point they advised that the only option was to stay at the original resort and that the renovations were for the water villas and will be unaffected and is far fro the beach bungalows. So out of courtesy and their apologies we accepted this offer with a reduction of a 20% on the accommodation. We accepted because we really wanted to spend my birthday at the island. Oh my !!!!!!!?this doesn’t stop here we get a call 2 weeks from the departure date to say the flight for the 4th June has been cancelled and we were given another date or take another flight the same day with an additional cost of R9000.00 with emirates. We could not afford this amount of money at this stage so reluctantly and with great sadness opted for the second date or a full refund of our payment. To date have not heard from them and my daughter has sent an e-mail last night again to follow up as she is handling my bookings So people what do you think of the above. However I have no words to describe my dissatisfaction with them. Well guess what I’m not going to let this ordeal dampen my birthday celebration I have instead booked a local beach holiday to Durban instead. All I want now is for Priority Escape to refund my money which I’m sure you all will guess is a lot and will never ever think of planning another holiday with them. Vino</div>
