Printerparts Direct Bloemfontein – Extremely Poor Service & Misrepresentation We booked in a Samsung Z Fold phone under warranty with Printerparts Direct. They quoted us over R16 000 for repairs and claimed that Samsung voided our warranty. After contacting Samsung directly (with recorded proof), Samsung confirmed that they had not voided the warranty, and in fact had never even seen the phone. The void was done by the repair centre itself. After numerous unanswered calls and “we’ll call you back” promises, we drove all the way to Bloemfontein. In person, we were shown a report stating “physical damage.” However, the supposed scratch is on the outside corner of the phone, not the screen. The screen issue is an ink mark down the middle when opened, completely unrelated to the scratch they are using to void the warranty. If it truly fell, why is the front screen perfectly intact? Printerparts Direct insisted they were following Samsung protocol. Later we even received a call “from Samsung” claiming we lost warranty due to physical damage, yet Samsung has no record of that call. When we asked for the report to escalate further, the receptionist initially refused, saying it had to come from Samsung. I phoned Samsung while in their reception. Samsung was shocked, the report must always be provided with the quote. Only after pressure did Printerparts Direct scramble to hand it over. On a recorded call with both Samsung and Printerparts Direct, the technician admitted he personally voided the warranty, contradicting everything they told us before. Samsung confirmed once again that they did not void the warranty and are now disputing the matter with this repair centre. This experience has left us with serious concerns about integrity, transparency, and accountability at Printerparts Direct Bloemfontein. Please think twice before trusting them with your devices, especially under warranty.
