Print 24 Umhlanga Worst Service

Print 24 – Umhlanga “24 Hour Speed Service”

I am not one to name and shame but Print 24 has gone beyond bad customer service and I feel consumers should be aware of what we have been experiencing with this printing company.

In November 2016 I had a few shirts printed with them. The service was great, they were efficient and the printing was correct and of good quality. So we decided to print another batch with them in December.

On the 20th of December I notified them that the shirts they printed for us were

1. The incorrect size of what we specified and;

2. The printing was “cracking” – in other words very bad quality. I received an email back saying they are closed and only reopening on the 9th of January. I phoned them straight away and asked if they could make another plan as the shirts were urgent and we needed them before the 5th of January. Up to date I have had no response on this, never received newly printed shirts or the money back. I sent another email to them on the 16th of January asking for a response… Nothing yet.

So we gave them another chance, we ordered more shirts for printing which we received on the 16th of January. This time around, the printing that was supposed to be white, was grey, and on top of that it was smudged. Phoning their offices we spoke to a gentlemen by the name of Jay who told us the shirts were not supposed to be given to us as they were incorrectly printed. But that very morning when my colleague phoned Jay to find out if the shirts were ready he said yes. Jay confirmed that they will get the shirts re-printed for us. It has been 9 working days (16 Jan – 26 Jan), we called through this morning, and get told we will get the shirts before COB. We requested if we can please get them by 12:00, which was confirmed by another of their staff members that it was doable. Jay said that this cannot be done, he is not going to rush the print…. Their logo: “24 Hour Speed Service” – we have been waiting for 9 working days for a fault to be rectified that was theirs in the first place. Even if they can’t deliver as per their company logo at least communicate with your customers and try to rectify your mistakes ASAP.

Having to deal with Jay is difficult, he is very rude and makes the customer feel that they are at wrong. I asked him to whom do I complain, and as per Jay, he is the only person in charge. So I feel that I can’t take this any further and had to turn so social media. When I told him that we will never do business with them and I will never refer anyone to him, I was told to send my banking details so that the money can be refunded. Awaiting for refund, we were told by COB… Let’s see what happens.

I can’t comprehend how anyone can treat customers this way and provide such shocking service.
