Salesperson at Pringle tried to con me.

Recently I visited Pringle Eastgate, chose a shirt and asked the salesperson what the price was. Initially he said R650,00. I said fine, I will take it. He scanned the price, pretended to press some keys on the till and said that he was giving me a special price of R500,00, if I also bought another item. I refused, saying I did not want anything else and was prepared to pay the R650,00. He said that it was too late as he had already changed the price to R500,00. I paid R500,00 for the shirt and left.

I then called Pringle Sandton and they confirmed that the correct price was R500,00.

I have spent a few thousand rand at Pringle over the past few weeks. However, I do not want to have to watch for staff conning me when I am shopping so I will not be shopping at Pringle anymore. I am sure they are plenty of businesses out there where I can shop without worrying about being ****med.
