False advertising and bad service

<p>I bought a straightener on 20 May 2015 from Princessa in the Pavilion and was told by the sales lady that it is such a great straightener that it has a lifetime guarantee and if anything goes wrong with it, i must just bring it back, i will get a brand new one for free unless of course i have damaged it - like dropped it or got it wet etc and even then i can still bring it back and just pay R300 for a new one. She said i could even bring it back in 10 years, it doesn't matter how long as it has a lifetime guarantee. I was very happy with this and bought it. So for the last 2 months the straightener has been going on and off while in use, obviously the wiring, so i take it back to the same shop (who have now changed their name to Showbar still in the Pavilion) and they say, "sorry we cant help you, the company closed down and moved away". She shrugged her shoulders at me and said i'm sorry i cant help. Then she proceeded to try sell me her new straightener that she is selling. I mean really???????????????</p>
