Empty promises

I took my car for a service there a month ago , they did the service but they didn't replace the brake pads and i have a maintenance plan so it does cover both the service and the replacement of brake pads .

A week ago i started hearing a funny noise from my car when using the brakes so i called them spoke to a lady by the name of Michelle she then said to me i must bring my car back on Friday they will replace the brake pads for free as it was their mistake that it wasn't replaced . Friday 27th May 2022 i took my car there only to find that there isn't even a job card opened meaning it wasn't booked OK fine they opened a job card .

Hours later the lady called told me that i need to pay R5000 for replacement of brake pads and labor I then asked how come come you said that it will be for free as it was your mistake that the brakes were not replace she then said they cant do them for free .
