No customer care!

Good day,

I have bought a ford Ranger from Primo Exec about 2 months ago and noticed before I bought it the windscreen do have a lot of stone chips on it.

I brought this under MOs attention and said he would look at possibly changing or fixing it. By means of fixing "Resin" to seal the chips...this seems like has not been done and resulting into my whole window on the left side cracking completely. I took it to PG Glass and they also mentioned that why was this window not replaced as the chips even with resin in would not have helped.

According to MO the windscreen was inserted with resin.

I highly doubt if this was done...if it was please send me the invoice as proof. The concern I have is who is now responsible for this as it was mentioned before the deal was done?

My two front tyres was also mentioned to MO that it needs to be replaced but apparently if it passes the Roadworthy test Primo does not care about people safety. These tyres is full of cuts and HAD ONLY 2mm left on tread.

Would you be happy if a car is sold to you in this way??

This is not the first time I have problems with primo exec as the Audi I had before the ranger was standing at Audi northcliff for ten days as it was sold to me with a broken manifold gasket and taken back to audi with a blown turbo pipe.

Air vents was broken and promised to fix by primo but never done??

Please how far do I need to go for you to assist in this matter.

Can you assist urgently.

Thank you for the business you have given us. It is always upsetting to receive a complaint. We have pulled out the file and there are a few matters that require mentioning.

A full vehicle inspection, testing and certification was given by Dekra, an international vehicle inspection company.

  • All 4 tyres were at legal limit and passed. The tyre replacement was never a pre-requisite to sealing the deal and unfortunately we can't assist you there.
  • The windscreen can't pass a roadworthy with a crack in it. If this happened it was after delivery.

We have however taken a CSI decision at Primo Executive Cars to replace your windscreen as a show of good faith. As we value our customers and their after sale satisfaction. We hope this is in order and that you agree and will accept our offer. We would like to turn this from a negative to a positive.
