No aftercare service
Purchased a car from this dealership - and within a few days the car started showing all the hidden defects. This dealer made the pre delivery a very pleasant experience, but the post delivery was and still is a NIGHTMARE. I have attempted to solve this issue amicably, but have since refereed it to the MIOSA.
Please stay clear of these people - who lie, cheat and *****.
Hi Noeleen,
When we could not find you on our customer roll we looked further and noticed your email address. Please let Dion know that the only dishonest, ********** issues here, besides the actual reason the vehicle's selector fork bending, is your two postings in concession on Hello Peter. This in fact brings your business practise at MEDIAWORKS into question.
The vehicle we sold Dion was in great condition and confirmed by Melrose Nissan on its last inspection not too long before Dion's purchase. Dion confirmed that this was an AWESOME vehicle after his almost 800km drive down to Durban.
Purely looking at the M3 Dion traded in we can deduce that Dion is somewhat of a petrol head or speedster. We come to this conclusion after inspecting the modifications made to the traded in M3. We believe that the selector fork bent on the Nissan because Dion tried to launch the vehicle. Now there is no law against driving your vehicle in what ever manner you choose. If you choose to race or drive your vehicle this way, then be prepared to cover the costs when they arise.
This said, i was more than willing to look at the repair costs and cover them at my repairer. Dion had the vehicle stripped at his repairer, without our authority and then proceeded to send us a quotation. Once again a very questionable action?? I offered the estimated fee in cash to Dion. This was not accepted.
I have chosen to allow the MIO to make an observation and then let this be arbitrated, not to make mine or Dion's life more difficult but because we both feel that we are right and need the help of a third party.
We are more than happy to share the details of our happy customers posting comments, for further enlightenment. Yours and Dion's comments are baseless and malicious and will not be tolerates.
