Keep Away!!! Misleading and ********* ...
Stay away!!! These guys appear to be blatantly misleading the public with their falso adverts!!! They put up a Jagaur F Pace with the uprated Diesel engine on Gumtree. I am based in Cape Town. Called to confirm the details and condition of the car ... agreed to buy the car. Paid their 'mandatory' holding deposit!!! When I got the invoice and fortunately called Jaguar to confirm the details of the car. I found out that the car was in fact the lower spec and powered version and not the one advertised and sold to me!!! Thankfully I hadn't paid them in full at that stage, but called their manager ... Moh Cassim - who was very flipant and almost rude. Promised to get their Director to call me ... never did!!! I had already paid for the transport to courier the vehicle to Cape Town etc. After threatening to sue them, they agreed to refund my deposit, but refused to cover the costs of the courier fees, which was a non-refundable fee!!! Even though I lost R5000 on the transport fees, which I paid directly to the trasport company, it could have been a whole lot more, had I not checked the details of the car!!! After Reviewing all the numerous other negative reviews on sites about Primo Executive cars, I am actually relieved that I found out about their ********* and ******** way they do business!!!!! Best to avoid these guys - seem to be ***** with no decency to appologise and rectify their ills!!!
I can not understand the reason for this rating and the reason for your disapproval of our service to you. I would like to bring to your attention that our vehicles are loaded on a marketing portal using a Chassis number. All systems then populate the correct vehicle. As you might or might not know, sometimes with vehicles that have had a model change in the same year the system pulls the wrong car through. I would like to point out that as soon as you brought it to our attention we endeavoured to correct this issue. An observation that you might also not know about is that we called no less than four Land Rover dealerships, that gave us conflicting answers. Eventually it turned out that you were correct. The vehicle was immediately re-published correctly. We thank you for the information.
Furthermore, I would like to point out that any dealings with Primo Executive cars have been dealt with utmost respect to you. Although all deposits are non-refundable as stated on all our advertising, we refunded you on request. I did read a mail where you threatened us, that if the payment is not done in 24 hours you would sue us. This was your one and only mail received on the topic. That is not the reason we refunded you but the fact that the vehicle was not what you paid the deposit on, was good enough for me.
We did receive another call from you when you offered a lesser price on the vehicle. We did not accept this and the deal came to a stale mate.
At the moment you are disgruntled over a deal you made with a third party. Why is the anger aimed at Primo and not the carrier that has refused to refund you? Why are you not threatening them with legal action?
We feel that it is unfounded that you address us in this manner and the mere fact that you expect Primo to pay for something you arranged of your own accord is un-acceptable.
We wish you many happy miles with the purchase you made elsewhere.
