Defective car with no Dekra
I bought a car at that garage and within the first day it had problems. Took the second day to get it half problems sorted out and I booked it in for a couple of days to sort outstanding issues. They were finally half sorted still. Mind you I’m without a car during that period, no courtesy car was issued for my inconvenience I had to use Gautrain. I even went as far as paying an Uber to come fetch my car to find it with a 0km fuel range, while it had a fuel range in excess of 350km. When I looked at my tracker records I saw the car was driving to many places including the Vaal.
I was ****ed off, to find my car with no fuel yet it was filled up and the sales agent was hesitant to process the refund for me. And the issues in the car were still half fixed. I made a negative review and I was begged to remove my negative review which I did hoping my car would be sorted out but I was wrong.
The last straw I had it with them was when they told me that the last issue to sort out was a 3 day job. And mind you they don’t give you a courtesy car during that period. I just gave up on them. Even the sales agent never bothered to check on me ever again.
I would advise anyone who wants to purchase a car from them to be very careful as the after sales experience is not nice with them.
It astounds us that you are unhappy. The vehicle was sold to you and we explained that we are searching for a headlight as the LED portion was not operational. There was a side skirt which you also asked us to refit to your liking.
When you brought the vehicle back for these items to be fitted you brought to our attention that the speedometer or cluster on the vehicle was acting up. We said that we would attend to it! Did we ever not help you with any of your repair requests? Did we not foot the bill for each and every one of your requests? I assure you that the costs were well over R30000.
In order for us to fix the cluster, the vehicle had to travel to Vereeniging as this is the only auto electrician we know that could do this job. The distance to the mechanic was 55km. We had to go there twice hence completing 220km. At an average of 10litres per 100km which is what your vehicle consumes. We worked out a refund of around R300. We paid that to you on your request. If this is in any way short according to your calculations please contact Jabu and tell him where we might have gone wrong.
We urge you to please bring the vehicle in affording us the opportunity and time needed for your sill repair.
