I bought cattle (Sheep and a Goat) over the phone and email, to be delivered in my home town by the 19th of September 2025. I paid for both animals including a delivery fee for each. When it was time for the delivery, PrimeFarmers told me that their courier was held and they needed to pay an insurance fee for the delivery of the animals. I was told to send the money for the insurance and that money would be refunded to me once they reach the destination, at my home. I did that transaction and waited for them to deliver but nothing happened. A day after, I contacted them asking about the animals as they needed on the 20th. They said they are on their way to my home. Just a few minutes after, I got an email stating that I needed to pay another money which will be refunded again when they reach my home. I asked them what money now because I paid all the money in full including an insurance I was not told about in our contract. I was then told that an amount of R1650 was needed for Transit but it will also be included in the refund I will be receiving during the delivery. Out of desperation, I sent the money again because the animals were needed for the ceremony. I waited the whole day, nothing arrived. I wrote emails and texts to the PrimeFarmers and they then ignored me. Till this day,no one responded and all my money is now gone. They took all my R7700 and I need help. These people are situated in Eastern Cape,CathCart and I can't reach them anymore
