WORST SERVICE EVER

On the /12/2015 i had a small accident. My cars front end went under a bus, with the result my bonnet was damaged.I phoned PMD on the 7th. They told me to get a police report and fill in claim forms and email it back to them. I did so on the 8th. After 4 days i phoned them to asked what is happening as i do not get any feedback from them. The next day Mrs Madelain Buitendag phoned me to say she will be handling the claim from here on. She said a assessor will come out in a few days to asses car. A week later he came out and checked out the damages. Mrs buitendag phoned me a two days later to say she has received the assessor report and will get back to me soon. A week later she phoned me and said the bonnet can be \FIXED\" and mailed me a list of ONE panelbeater. I told her i dont want it to fixed i want a new bonnet, and other alternative panelbeaters. She said she will get back to me. STILL WAITING. SO,on 15th of january 2016 i skipped my instalment. PMD phoned me on 20/01/2016 and asked why i skippped.Told them the story ,they said will look into it, but i must pay as my policy will lapse if i dont pay by 29/01/2016. i payed the instalment 29th. Today still driving damaged car."

Hello highlandere71,

Thank you for raising your concern with us.

We assure you that the extensive investigation which is performed into every claim should not be viewed as a desire to delay the claim decision but is imperative to ensure that all valid claims are paid.

As you are aware, your claim involved a third party whom we struggled to get in touch with which unfortunately caused a delay on the progression of your claim.

Nevertheless, your claim has been submitted for a decision and Madelain from our Claims Department has already been in contact with you in order to assist you until the matter has been finalised to your satisfaction.
Assuring you of our continued best endeavours.

Kind Regards,
The Prime Meridian Team
