Worst experience

All my comprehensive premiums are up to date. I claimed for malicious damage on the 16th June. My car was in the yard, I was attacked inside the house by someone I know a drug addict, he then proceeded by smashing my car and ran away. I called the police he's arrested at the moment. Called Primeridian Direct they towed my car. Gave them my statement, case number and everything as requested. Waited for a week then I'm told my claim has been rejected because the culprit is a family member. I have to pay R2900 for them to release my damaged car also. What am I insured for then? They just want me financially crippled. I was attacked literally and I could have died on the day of the incident now this!
