Worse Service

Two months and 8 days later and I still don't have my car. I have to call everyday to get feedback from PMD. I had an accident on the 10th of September, I literally only bumped my bumper. the claim took 2 whole weeks to process. If you think that was long, it stayed where my insurance towed it to for 5 weeks. Yep, 5 weeks, and no one had done anything about it. I had to call pretty much everyday to get any form of assistance. After waiting forever and calling everyday, only then did they decide to move my car to the panelbeaters. Where they did they best they could and kept me informed all the way. My car has been done for a week and they have not paid my panelbeaters yet. I have already gone for 2 months without a car, and now I am still being delayed. This is by far theeee worst customer service I have ever recieved. I call everyday and nothing is done. Just empty promises and 'we will call you back' that never happened. I can't wait to get my car so that I can cancel your useless insurance and be done with you. In all this up and downs, you didn't mind taking your premiums, although you knew that you deliberately prolonged the process. I paid for 2 months without service and without a car. I ma praying to God I get my car before the 25th so I can cancel and be done with you.

Thanks for showing me how useless you

Dear Heidi M,

We value hearing from our policyholders as we continuously strive to improve our service.

At PMD we pride ourselves in promptly paying all valid claims.

Rest assured that we always do all in our power to avoid delays during the repair process. In addition, our dedicated Assessing Team makes every effort to ensure that all vehicle assessments are accurate and reasonable based on the accident damage.

It is sometimes the case that the repair process is affected by a number of factors which is outside the control of both the repairer and ourselves, such as the availability of parts.

We are delighted to confirm that payment has been made to the repairers your vehicle has already been released to you.

We are sure that it is comforting to know that our nationwide panel of SAMBRA-approved repairers ensure that your vehicle will receive high-quality repairs and service.

Assuring you of our continued best endeavours.

Kind regards,
The PMD Team

No no no. It didn't take 5 weeks at storage due to parts availability. You guys were stalling. The panelbeaters informed me from the day they started to the end, even when they didn't haveIparts. I had to call you every single day for anything to happen. That's one of my many problem's now. My biggest problem is that my car didn't have water 3 hours after getting it from the panelbeaters and I got stuck in the middle of the road. Yep. I was stuck today at 5, where I had to call road assist and they had to tow me. The car was not fixed to any standards! This is ridiculous! I am scared to even ask you guys to have a look at it as this might take another 2 and a half months.
They towed me home as they need to confirm with your claim's department if it needs to go back to HPB or towed to a storage unit, and where.

I hope it was just the water and my car didn't hit "TOP". I can't deal with you guys anymore, I honestly can't!! 😭😭
