02 Sept 2026, 09:45Hello Nkululeko N,
Thank you for your post. It’s never easy dealing with unexpected windscreen damage, and we appreciate you reaching out.
At Prime, we work hard to ensure that the cover, exclusions, and limits on your policy are clearly explained from the start and reflected consistently in our decisions.
Our review confirmed that the windscreen damage was already present when your policy started and was visible in the inception photos. As pre-existing damage is not covered under the policy, we were unable to approve the claim.
Our Market Conduct Team has been alerted and is already in contact with you to provide further clarity.
Prime is dedicated to offering value-for-money insurance products paired with compassionate and professional service, ensuring peace of mind for all our clients.
Committed to resolving your concern with care.
Kind regards,
