When the windscreen ...

When the windscreen was hit by a stone I was scared and thought I will be sent from pillar ro post, but I called Prime South Africa immediately, was told the offices opens at 8am as the incident happend around 6am cos I was travelling from Home to Johannesburg, I drove and when I got to Benoni I called them again, the lady was so friendly and efficient, within 15 min on the call everything was recorded and I sent them the pictures of the car as requested, that was around 11am if I'm not mistaken, then I received a call around 15:30 but didn't take the call cos I was sleeping, this morning at 8:40 I received a call from them again on the call it was a very friendly lady who said they have tried to call me yesterday to confirm and Inform me that Glasfit have been appointed as the service provider to fit my glass, so the claim was approved earlier than anticipated cos I was initially told that it will take between 2 and 3days but it was approved same day🤭😊I'm extremely happy with the service

The claim was approved on the 9th June very quick but after longs calls with your agents I was told for the whole week I was told that Glass Boys will contact me for call our or for me to go to them to have the windscreen replaced but they never did, agents kept telling me I'll be contacted but the service provider never contacted me, it was cold in Joburg during the course of that week and I was using the car to go to work and take my daughter from and to school, so Saturday 14th June I got a windscreen people from Krugersdorp who does call outs, they came to my place in joburg to install the windscreen and a smash and Grap on the car because the insurance and their service providers went mute on me, upon completion of the work I paid the guys in cash and was given a receipt for their work.On the 19th June I was contacted by Glasfit Bedfordview telling me my claim is approved they want me to pay 3k excess fee before they can place an order for the window, exactly 10 days later from the initial claim day, so in other words Prime SA expected me to drive in Joburg for 10days without a windscreen, ok it's fine, Prime SA requested an invoice and the receipt from the guys who supp**** and installed the windscreen for me I was asked if I paid in EFT, cash or swiped I told them I paid cash, I sent them the invoice and receipt confirming I've paid they then rejected the claim because it was paid in cash and not by EFT or Swiping method according to them only EFT or swiping method are regarded as valid proof of payments, I'm really dissapointed that I had to wait 10days before my case was addressed and after fixing the windscreen I'm still told the claim is rejected, it's fine you guys can come and remove the windscreen in the car an install yours because of you were serious you were supposed to have sent an assessor to come and assess the windscreen and tell if it was fitted or not but for you to reject my claim because it was paid in cash is barbaric and miopic,
