VERY BAD

Prime Meridian Direct lies when they say you do not have excess. In fact you have a very large excess if they approve your claim. They claim to pride themselves with no excess. How do you tell someone that they do not have excess if they car gets in an accident and you tell them they growing cover only made R20 000 and the cost to repair the vehicle is R60 000. This is clear that the policy holder has to pay R40 000 which that is a very high excess. PMD on the terms and conditions only consider a vehicle a write off if the estimated cost of repairs exceeds 80% of the vehicle trade value. A proper insurance company with a valid comprehensive cover work on 60% of the vehicle trade value. PMD is not the insurance that will give you piece of mind. Ask me I have fallen victim to them and I had to apply for a personal loan of R60 000 to just fix my car. This by far the WORST Insurance company in the market and I will never advice anyone to use PMD in fact if you new or still with PMD drop them and get COMPREHENSIVE COVER that will cover you and not drop you when you need them. PMD will also say you can only claim 1 time within the first 12 months of taking the policy but make you pay an activation fee and then 2 times after the first 12 months. Such ******* if you ask me. Accidents happen not because we sit and plan them. They happen unexpected hence the word accident.

Do not bothered I do not need an Insurance like PMD again ever in my life. I will never use this serves again nor will I recommend anyone to you. Once again you hide behind the fact you guys lie to people claim that your Motor thrift plan whatever it is the same as comprehensive insurance cover. Full of lies right and the no excess part that is *******. If it cost R40 000 to repair the vehicle you will tell the client they cover only grow by R20 000. The balance to repair of the additional R20 000 is excess. Your marketing department can save there breath I want nothing to hear from them. I have made my life a bit better by cancelling PMD

After my claim was rejected. PMD calls me to fill in papers to re open my claim. I have fixed my vehicle mind you as the insurance that I had been paying for told me they not gone fix my car. I saw a lot people review and about PMD and actually gave this company the benefit of the doubt. Now like any person who fix a damage vehicle. You do not care about keeping invoices but by trying to get you vehicle back on the road. My claim that was re-opened I do not know for what reason is still hanging and somewhere at PMD. Even till today I have not gotten a cent from PMD. This insurance is big time disappointment.
