Vehicle accident claim
On the 2nd of February 2026 I was involved in a vehicle accident and I logged a claim with Prime South Africa which it was approved on the 4th February. They have been taking me back and forth with taking my vehicle for repairs, therefore after all the headaches I received a call last week Wednesday from the lady who's handling my case (Nqobile) confirming that my vehicle has been taken for repairs at NuWagon Auto body. Today I called the panel beater to check on my vehicle, and to my surprise my vehicle is still at the assesment center and the lady from Prime South Africa has been lying all this time. I'm so frustrated and disappointed!!

17 Feb 2026, 14:07Hello Gontse L,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We know how stressful it is to be without your car and how worrying it feels when updates don’t seem to line up.
At Prime, we’re committed to clear and accurate communication between our team, our repairers and our clients, so that you always know where your car is and what’s happening next.
That’s exactly why we prioritise keeping you updated at every stage: our system and follow‑up with Nu Wagon confirm that your car was moved to the repairer as planned and that this was communicated from our side. Even when messages from different parties cause confusion, you can rely on the updates you receive directly from Prime to reflect the actual status of your car. We can confirm that your car was with the repairer as per the initial communication from us.
Our Market Conduct team is already in contact with you to make sure you’re kept updated until your car is completed and ready for collection.
We’re committed to making support accessible and convenient. Whether you prefer using the mobile app, sending an email, or making a call, we’re here to help, on your terms.
Committed to resolving your concern with care.
Kind Regards,
The Prime SA Team
