Urgent Complaint – Ongoing Issues with Auto Magic Montague Gardens
Since October 2024, my car was involved in a minor accident that required the replacement of the bumper and front sensors. A month ago, I went to collect my car from Auto Magic Montague Gardens. Upon inspection, I immediately reported that the front sensors were not working. I was told to bring the car back in two days for the issue to be resolved. However, it has now been a month and a half, and despite repeatedly lodging complaints through the platforms provided by Prime SA, my concerns have been ignored.
I have requested to be referred to another repair branch, but this has not happened. It has now been six months, and my car is still not fully repaired. Meanwhile, I have been paying R1,800 every month, yet the vehicle remains unsatisfactory.
Can someone from Prime SA who values customer care review my case and advise me on the next steps? I am exhausted from repeatedly raising the same complaint with your consultants and complaints department, only to receive no resolution. At the very least, provide me with the email address and contact details of your underwriters or guide me on the legal routes available, as this situation is unacceptable, and I can no longer tolerate it.
Additionally, I was disrespected and humiliated by Cindy, the branch manager at Auto Magic Montague Gardens. She and her team provided me with a courtesy car with an expired license disc. I reported this to my insurance, and her staff were aware of the issue. When I raised the concern, Cindy reacted aggressively, threw the ticket onto the dashboard, and accused me of being irresponsible, claiming that I should have returned the car when the disc expired. This incident left me utterly shocked.
Her behavior was unprofessional, uninformed, and completely unacceptable. When the car was given to me, the license disc had already been expired for 18 days. She was rude and disrespectful, and her actions made me feel as though she viewed me as inferior. This took place in front of her staff, who were visibly uncomfortable, yet no one dared to intervene.
I demand an urgent response and a proper resolution to this matter.
