Unsolicited, repeated, annoying SMS's

I'm just getting very tired of their unwanted, unsolicited and unnecessary spam messages. They ask me to opt out by sending an SMS to opt out but why should the onus be on me? They should be ashamed of being so desperate to harrass people with continuous SMS's!

Dear Primilla D,

Thank you for taking the time to alert us of your frustration regarding the unwanted marketing SMS’s you have received from PMD.
PMD is a member of the Direct Marketing Association of South Africa (DMASA) and abides strictly with its code of conduct.  The DMASA maintains a “Do not contact list”  to assist businesses in avoiding the mutual costs and inconveniences associated with communicating with those who do not wish it. This database is regularly imported electronically into our systems to ensure that we do not contact anyone who has “opted out”. Your particular details were not on this list.

Immediate steps have been taken to ensure that our Marketing Team has added your contact details to our “do not contact” list.

Unlike many other insurers, PMD offers a reduce to zero excess for comprehensive cover in a remarkedly short time.

Kind regards,
The PMD Team
