Still begging for my car to get fixed

It is a pity how those who are barely managing in life are taken advantage of. I opted for PMD because I couldn’t afford high premiums today I regret, I regret ever joining PMD am sitting with a car that is falling apart because I can’t afford to fix it, if had I took the little money I was paying PMD and saved it, today it would be enough to fix my car. But now all that money went into the pockets of greedy people who would stop at nothing to exploit the those with little money to protect themselves. I can’t afford a lawyer so what am I. Going into the 3rd month months now and am still begging to get my car fixed I have provided everything they ever asked from me on time but yah I guess that how unfair life is.

Dear Mukondi M,

Thank you for taking the time to raise your frustration with us. It is troubling to hear of your experience as client service is important to us. We would like to express our deepest regret for any inconvenience caused by this rare occurrence.

At PMD we pride ourselves in promptly paying all valid claims.  Rest assured that we perform our validations not for the sake of creating unnecessary delays or to avoid claims but for the protection of all of our clients.  As we are sure you will appreciate, the more time it takes us to validate your claim, the more it costs us both.

As you are aware, we are currently awaiting documentation from your service provider before the validation of your claim can be finalised. This is due to the fact that not much is known about the circumstances relating to your accident and it is for this reason that your cell phone record data had to be requested.

Our Market Conduct Team has confirmed that they have already been in contact with you and will further assist in expediting the process where possible.

Unlike with many other insurers, and notwithstanding economic conditions like interest rate hikes, inflation or a falling Rand, PMD guarantees never to increase premiums on claim free policies.

Assuring you of our continued best endeavours.

Kind regards,
The PMD Team

For 3 months am being told we waiting for cell data, last week I took it upon myself to approach MTN myself to get my cell data.

It took only 4 days to get my cell data from MTN something PMD have been telling me their trying to get for 3 months.

Its honestly shocking
