*******
Prime Meridian Direct took 101 days to conclude the outcome of my claim after I had an accident on the 27 August 2017. The final outcome was a repudiation (which means they were not going to pay claim). This resulted in me accumulating costs during the term since I had to make means of traveling as I used my car for for work. Secondly, ***** reason for repudiating the claim was that I was speeding, but they couldn't not proove what speed I was driving and what speed I was supposed to be driving on the specific road. And why would they make me spend more money in getting the telephone records with MTN while they could see that the claim was not going to be paid due to me speeding? Because that could easily be determined without the telephone records, which delayed the whole process.
I ended up settling the bills for towing and storage of my car which was very high, given the fact that I wanted 101 days to know the outcome of the claim.
I feel this was a ******* because they couldn't tell me what speed I was driving and what speed I was supposed to be driving. And why could they not settle the storage bill because it was not my fault that they take 101 days to finalize a claim, which is something I do myself in my profession within 2 hours.
I feel this guys do not pay, and that is how they make money, they look for reasons not to pay and create them even if they do not exist, an insurance company that knows what they do does not take 101 days to know if they have to repudiate a claim. That's not rocket science.
The public should know the truth about this company, they are a ***** meant for *****ing people's money by making promises they never keep.
