Ridiculous service
I have been with PMD for 2 years now. And i havent skipped any of their monthly instalment. I was invloved in a car accident this year. The guy who bump my car is covered with Santam. So my PMD insurance insisted i pay the access fee of R8000 which i did and the car was taken to Renew it in Sandton. I need my access fee back as they suppose to get it from the 3rd party. They dont call me or update me unless i call them. Its been 4 months with no action or positive update. Every time i call them they telling me they cant get hold of anyone from Santam. What stupidity is that?? Insurance is suppose to be going extra on my behalf as im still covered with them. Worst i even upgraded and took a better cover. This is ridiculous. Samantha from PamD is currently handling my case . And Zama Nene from Santam and Kumaran are aware about my case.
I should have phoned and sorted this immediatley but i was told that my insure must contact the 3rd party. But they cant sort out anything . Today im told it can drag for almost a year last time i was told it will take a maximum of 6 months. This service is kaak. Tomorrow im cancelling my insurance with you guys. Yourl cant assist with anything. Please fix this Asap im going to call santam and also put them on hello peter.

As you are aware, an excess is a self-insured portion paid by clients on all approved claims. The excess is only paid back to the client where a full recovery of all of the repair cost is made – this is industry standard and applies to all insurance claims.

It will no doubt delight you to be reminded that PMD offers a unique benefit where the basic excess on your policy reduces every month you pay your premium.
