Rejection of claim
I need your intervention here, I was involved in an accident on the 1st of November 2020, and submitted my claim on the 3rd. I was informed that my car will be assessed and they will revert back to me. Car was assed and I was told the damage was worth 25K. I got calls from them requesting the passengers details, gave them the details as requested. I was told that they still investigating the matter until Friday the 13th when I received a call from them telling me that the claim was rejected due to Misrepresentation of material facts. I don’t understand cuz I went to report the accident and obtained all the relevant information so I can submit everything in time. The information I gave the police and the insurance is accurate and correct. But I was informed that my statement contradicts with that of the passenger. I asked what the passenger said and was informed they can’t divulge that information to me. I was expected to take pictures immediately after the accident so they can identify the scene, I explained to them I couldn’t take any pictures cuz I was traumatized. Now I am accused of giving incorrect information, Acts of *****, Misrepresentation, misdescription and non disclosure. I feel I was expected to remember everything right after I was involved in an accident, I am not happy with the service I got and I feel disrespected. I had absolutely no reasons to lie about anything that happened that night. Please Assist!
