Rejected claim
I had an accident on the 15 March 2015 and my insurance rejected my claim as they say tyres where not road worthy, While I bought new tyres in November 2014 it less than 6months I m surprised why they rejected my claim it took them 3 months to tell me that my tyres where not road worthy but they accessed my car 2 days after the accident.<br> Two weeks after the accident they towed the car to their storage in Ace Auto Salvage in Johannesburg from my nearest storage Advance towing in Evander where I stay and there after rejected the claim I have to pay for the storage and collect the car myself which I don't understand because they are the ones that took the car from me. I m really confused!!

Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention. We understand your frustration.
Whilst it may seem inconceivable that your tyres were worn so quickly, our claims department has worked diligently and a careful review of your tyres has confirmed their non-compliance.
In regard to storage of your vehicle, as a service to our clients and with their consent, we arrange for vehicles to be taken to one of our salvage locations in order to prevent the incurral of the considerably higher storage fees charged by other storage facilities.
Nonetheless, we have arranged for a senior member of our team to contact you to explanation the position in greater detail.
Assuring you of our continued best endeavours.
Kind regards,
The PMD Team
