Protracted claims assessment
Can someone at the latter insurance company please rationalize a 30 day turnaround time on claims assessment. I mean, this is a major inconvenience as one has to drive a damaged vehicle if it is still drivable for 30 DAYS.

22 Aug 2019, 15:53Dear Smt T,
Thank you for your feedback. We value hearing from our policyholders as we continuously strive to improve our service.
Rest assured that we perform all our validations not for the sake of creating unnecessary delays or to avoid claims but for the protection of our clients. As we are sure you will appreciate, the more time it takes us to validate your claim, the more it costs us both.
Your assigned Claims Technician has confirmed that with your continued cooperation during the claims validation process, the matter will be concluded swiftly.
Our Market Conduct Team has already been alerted to your concern and will work closely with you until the matter is resolved.
We are of course pleased to re-confirm that unlike with many other insurers, with PMD the excess payable when you claim under comprehensive cover reduces to absolute zero - and in a short few months.
Assuring you of our continued best endeavours on your behalf.
Kind regards,
The PMD Team
