Prime: Worst Service when submitted a Claim, Lack of Communication is Shocking!!!!!
If I could give this organisation 0 I would gladly do so. I was in an accident and submitted a claim through Prime. My car was then sent to the Panel Beaters. When the Panel Beaters removed the bumper they identified additional parts that needed to be put in.
The additionals request was then sent to Prime. It is going on to 2 weeks and I dont have the faintest idea what is happening. I have called in every single day asking for feedback. My Claim Handler (Kanyi) not neither sent me a message, email or made a phone call after constantly saying that she would call me back. I then requested to speak to Management on 2 occasions, I am still waiting for someone to call me. The lack of communication is absolutely appalling. I am meant to call in every day for an update , yet no one seems to be able to assist me... Prime will be the first company to debit your account, but once you claim it is a never ending struggle for some resolution.
Please please please, I need some resolution and I need my vehicle. I ask for someone to please help me. My Policy Number is MX*** and my name is Jade..
Thank you for your post.
The repair process for vehicles can be inherently complex and subject to various factors that may cause delays. Once a vehicle is dismantled, additional damages or parts requirements often come to light, which were not visible during the initial assessment. This necessitates further approvals and sourcing of parts, which can be impacted by supplier availability, backorders, or logistical challenges.
A review of your claim shows that your vehicle is in the panelbeating bay, awaiting additional parts as communicated telephonically.
Our Market Conduct Department will be in contact with you to provide further context in this regard.
At Prime, we aim to provide budget-friendly insurance solutions while maintaining a high standard of service. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this matter.

Customer Service is very important and a simple message, email or phone call goes a long way to maintain a positive service for your clients. The only communication I received was through the panel beaters. I then as I said had to call Prime mutiple times on a daily basis to get some sort of feedback, still not sure why I recieved no feedback. I left messages for my Claim Handler and for Management to give me a call, and no one has... In the future do better to ensure that there is sufficient communication
I look forward to feedback from your Market Conduct Service
Thanks and Regards,
Jade
