Prime Protect App complain

Two different consultants failed to make me understand how prime protect app is able to detect a crush, I will not have an App monitoring my movements and not understand how it will exactly benefit me. How signal is sent from the phone to the insurer during an accident. Honestly, I am not comfortable with the Prime South Africa moving forward. Consultants must be trained on what they sell, how can a consultant Advice that I crash my car to see the app works instead of explaining to me how the app works.
