Prime Meridian Rejects Claim
Hi,

On 31/01/2015 my car was bumped by another car and the other party admitted the guilt. I then put in a claim via my insurer and took them 6 months to get back to me with a rejection. The contract states in Black & White that they cover for exactly what my went through and now the're coming with technicalities that the policy doesn't cover \xyz". I must agree that they've tried to look for a loop hope not to assist but the contract states in BOLD and in Black & White."""

Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention.
Please be assured that we consistently try to assist our clients to the full extent of their policy benefits.
In this case, the third party caused minor damage to your vehicle, not provided for in terms of your policy. To ensure that policy benefits had been properly explained to you (in addition to your written policy document), we undertook a full review of your recorded initial purchase telephone conversation with our Tele-Assistant and re-confirmed that the explanations were all very clear.
In addition, a complete response was sent to you some time ago in which your questions were addressed in full. However, should you have further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us directly in this regard.
In the interim, you may be pleased to be reminded that your cover with Prime Meridian remains in full force and effect, that your premiums will never increase and that you will never be asked to pay an excess when you claim.
Assuring you of our continued best endeavours.
Kind Regards,
The PMD Team
