PMD SHORT PAYMENT

I joined PMD hospital plan in 2013 and never made any claim until recently in Aug this year for maternity. Upon claiming, I was assigned a consultant who was to help me throughout the entire process. She told me that my claim will exclude the 1st 24 hours and the day I was discharged from hospital. I was admitted on the 12th of Aug 2015, and discharged on the 16th Aug 2015, with to me means that i was in hospital for 4 days and discharged on the fifth day, which meant that the.pay out was suppose to be three days. To my surprise i was paid only for two days, with an unclear explanation that the 24 hours was counted front the 12th to the 13nth, which to me it meant the pay out excluded 48 hours, not 24 hours as i was initialially told. I feel that i was misled and the policy is not what they say it is. I was so disappointed that i even decided to cancel the policy.
