PMD repairs done with 2nd Hand parts :(

I submitted all relevant documents required to process said claim , ref CL*** to PMD Claims Dept and , I was instructed to take the vehicle to a Repair Shop in PE . The quote was finalised and submitted to PMD for authorization. Since then I had no communication from the PMD Call Centre to keep me posted on the progress of my claim. I subsequently called myself about the delay, and I was informed that the quote was returned to the service provider as they quoted on new parts for the repair instead of 2nd hand parts. I couldn't believe my ears as I thought I am dealing here with a reputable and honest Insurance Company. I suppose I was wrong, and I think the public needs to be warned of this ********* behaviour I have lost my faith in the business that PMD stands for ....PATHETIC
