PMD poor service

PMD poor service my vehicle is with a repairer since from 9 April 2024 still awaiting for a fog light cover to be delivered by PMD to the repair, I asked them to release the vehicle coz the repairer said the vehicle is driver-able but PMD does not want to release my vehicle. I’m so disappointed with the service.

 Dear Ms. Hlatshwayo

Thank you for your post.

At PMD we pride ourselves in promptly paying all valid claims. We are pleased to note that your claim was validated and approved.

Rest assured that we always do all in our power to avoid delays during the repair process. We pride ourselves in ensuring that vehicles are returned to clients in a good repaired condition. To achieve this we encourage all repairs to be completed by a SAMBRA approved repairer on our panel who has been carefully vetted to ensure that the best possible workmanship and service is provided to our clients. Should they not meet the standard, we have warranties in place to assist with any rectifications.

It is sometimes the case that the repair process is affected by a number of factors which is outside the control of both the repairer and ourselves, such as the arrival and availability of parts from the supplier.

Our Market Conduct Department will be in contact with you to provide you with comprehensive feedback regarding your queries.

It will undoubtedly please you to know that PMD offers 15 or 30-day car hire options for those unforeseeable incidents when you are rendered immobile.

Assuring you of our continued best endeavours on your behalf.

Kind regards,
The Prime Team
