PMD my worst nightmare

Worse decision I've ever made, my biggest regret I shouldn't have switched to PMD I regret everything. Got involved in an accident on the 16th of March 2022 reported everything was told they will send the claims form that I need to complete and send back immediately and to prepare my excess as the cost to repair is 7k before I could even print the forms received another call from Agnes at PMD advising I canceled the policy was shocked to the core and I refused. On Tuesday I received an sms stating why vehicle has been deemed a write off and that the policy has been canceled. Yoh called to find out and Masego advised it doesn't mean the vehicle has been written off it means there's a possibility but I was like why cancel my policy when the vehicle has not been assessed and she couldn't answer. I called in again to check and was told an assessor went out to assess my vehicle and I will be updated, later on again I called in and was told vehicle is repairable 37k and I was happy with the feedback but something in me said no ma'an call the panelshop for safety and was told my vehicle is still standing at towing yard that no assessor came in I got angry and called PMD again and was told my vehicle was assessed digitally I was like the previous person I spoke to said an assessor went out to assess my car and the lady was like let me check the notes she came back and said yah I can see on the notes the assessor just came back I was shocked to the core I'm like sisi I just spoke the panelshop no assessor came my vehicle is still standing at the towing yard then she started mumbling she didn't know what to say. Mind you no one from PMD is updating me I have to call with my own airtime pillar to post no one has answers finally I spoke to Paul who is handling the claim and was abit helpful he advised my vehicle has been written off because cost to repair is 57k wow the amount has changed now, I asked if they have done three different quotes to compare was told they would have to order the parts from China of which the insurance does not cover. Haibo there are dealerships in SA and a spares at Limbro Park but no one bothered to get quotes. I said to him I don't want my vehicle to be written off what resolution can we come up with and he said that is for the assessors. Mind you when I call I don't even get to speak with the assessor it's different people everyday explaining the same thing everyday using your airtime. Was told everything has been submitted they waiting for approval and it takes 3 days and I have still not received any feedback the only thing they will do is send you an sms requesting for documents, just today got an sms saying they want a Natis document. I called in again was like you guys are taking forever who will pay for the storage fees Lorinda advised the insurance will take care of that mind you, you are not being told whether or not the claim has been approved. I have sent emails to their complaints department to no avail I have done everything on my side but they not meeting me halfway. To be told your car is a write off via sms with no explanation it's like hearing your child just died with no explanation. I wouldn't recommend this insurance to my worse enemy. I strongly believe my vehicle needs to be physically assessed and I need a list of the damaged items I will look for them myself because you guys have failed and also release my vehicle from your panelshop will have it parked at my yard and will take it from there because there is no progress it's been a headache and sleepless nights dealing with this insurance.
