PMD IS USELESS

My vehicle was involved in an accident on the 22nd of February and PMD towed it to the panel beaters. I gave them all necessary information that they needed to register a claim. Nobody bothers to call me and update me on the status of my claim I have call them all the time just to be told the matter is still under investigation. Today is the 8th of March and still the investigator is not helping me out at all. The investigators name is Maree and she doesn't seem to care enough to speed the process. I am fed up with PMD and their stinking customer service. I told them to release my vehicle I will fix it myself since they are so *********** but I am being told to pay a release fee for a vehicle they towed and stored at the Panelbeater.

I would advise anyone to do business with PMD they do not care they care more about deducting money from your account without fail. Basically what I have observed is that PMD doesn't have customer services and do not care ajout their clients.

Dear Sabelo X, Thank you for your post. At PMD we pride ourselves in promptly paying all valid claims.  Rest assured that we perform our validations not for the sake of creating unnecessary delays or to avoid claims but for the protection of all of our clients.  As we are sure you will appreciate, the more time it takes us to validate your claim, the more it costs us both. During the claims validation and assessment process, the information supp**** by clients and witnesses needs to be verified and validated by independent sources as far as possible to ensure that we have the most objective and unbiased information available to enable us to make an informed decision regarding the outcome of a claim. It is for this reason that we take special care to ensure all the facts of an incident are correctly submitted to us. As you are aware, we are currently awaiting receipt of the Accident Report which will assist in the validation of the claim. Due to the fact that you were unable to assist in obtaining the report, we have appointed an external service provider to assist. We are, however, bound by their turnaround times. Our Market Conduct Team will be in contact with you to provide you with feedback on your matter. Unlike with many other insurers, and notwithstanding economic conditions like interest rate hikes, inflation or a falling Rand, PMD guarantees never to increase premiums on claim free policies. Assuring you of our continued best endeavours. Kind regards,The PMD Team

How does this assist me in any regard? Bottom line is your agents are *********** at perfoming their duties and writing me an essay won't change that fact.

I did give Maree the AR number on the 23rd of February and she claims the police station didn't answer their phone. A police Station operates 24/7 so that's another level of incompetence I have to deal with. Was I supposed to fetch the report onbyour behalf? If si with which vehicle as mine is at the Panelbeater? Get your facrs straight before you comment on an issue you are clueless about!

I would like to compliment one of your agent's who goes by the name of Nombulelo Sojada who went beyond what was expected of her, she went out of her way to communicate with me and update me on the status of my claim. she is an outstanding agent her constant calls and emails gave me hope in my darkest times. please thank her on my behalf.
