PMD is rejecting my claim and insist that I pay for the release of my car

I had an incident on the 25 December 2023,I drove and stopped at the stop sign at a T-junction,on the left side where I was supposed to turn to there were mini busses obstructing my view,I had to move forward for full view,unfortunately there was a car coming on high speed which resulted in a collision.Prime meridian direct is rejecting my claim on basis that I did not stop at a stop sign because diagnostic data from vehicle shows it was moving,of cause the car was moving because I needed to get a full view before i turn.They had told me that investigation time takes 10-15 working days and they are only giving me feedback today 08/02/2024.This ****mer of an insurance is further informing me that if I want my car back I need to pay them a release fee of R8,175.40 before the vehicle may be released.I had changed my mind about the towing company take my car at the scene of an accident due to their attitude,PMD consultant insisted that she has authorised who is taking my car and the destination and it can’t be changed,only for my vehicle to end up at the other destination which is more than 300km from the authorised destination.
