PMD frustrating
This insurance is very frustrating , it took them a month and 2 weeks to approve for payment of my car that was involved in an accident until my car battery cells was damaged due to the fact that the car has not been started for 6 weeks and now they say they won't pay for the battery.

22 Oct 2019, 17:09Dear Liberty M,
We're truly sorry that you have found the process challenging as client service is extremely important to us.
As the nature of your claim was somewhat unusual, a little bit of extra work was needed before its approval.
Experience has shown that batteries do not simply stop working if unused for a few weeks. More often this occurs when older batteries are in need of replacing.
Nonetheless, our Market Conduct Team will review the matter and provide you with further clarity.
We are of course, pleased to re-confirm that unlike with many other insurers, with PMD the excess payable when you claim reduces to absolute zero - and in a remarkably short period of time.
Assuring you of our continued best endeavours on your behalf.
Kind regards,
The PMD Team
