PMD Claims will drain you

I honestly did not want to write this review but I would not want anyone else to o through what I am currently going through .

I was looking for an insurance that met my budget and also being a first time car owner PMD stood out from the rest . Obviously friendly consultant who made it easy for me to take them up as my insurance with them by explaining everything to the best of their ability.

Come the 1st of May i was involved in a car accident (|Had i not had a seat belt I would not be writing this review ). Put in a claim and started the claims process. Got the hired vehicle as the claim was being processed .(I'm in the IT field and a vehicle is a must to be able to do my job) . In this period they were doing their investigations which i have no problems with , I supp**** all necessary documents and also did over the phone Inver vies with them . Just a side note this also includes Bank Statement and Tracker information which i had no problem producing .

Time came to pass that i had to return the vehicle and i was notified by one of their consultants that my claim would be finalized that week of me taking back the car as they only needed by Natis documents to finalize my claim .

Once I submitted my document they then took my claim to a discission comity without my knowledge . I then called for feed back as i have now submitted everything and i would like to move pass this hole process , they then tell me that my claim has now been moved to the decision committee or whatever they call them . then only to find out that they wanted CCTV footage of the accident or of the night I'm not sure , so they contacted the City of Cape town to retrieve them which now i am only being notified of as i am calling to follow up

Now only to receive a call from them yesterday to notify me that they are moving my vehicle to a s**** yard as my vehicle is a write off and here i was thinking my claim is being finalized . Mind you i am still without a vehicle and now they are starting to notice that I do not have vehicle which mind you is a job requirement and now my job could be on the line if this has to continue .

I am honestly lost for word and I am tired of calling of even thinking that tis will even be behind me anytime soon .
