Pathetic Customer Service

I have a claim with PMD CL: ********** 23 which I submitted on the 04.07.2016. I have to say PMD has the worst customer service in the word, as my claim was sitting on some guys desk for almost a week without being attended to as the specific guy was on leave. Now my claim is with a lady called Tammy who told me that she is awaiting for a report from MTN to check my location when the accident occured, and they have an agreement with MTN to get the report in 30 days.

Have been with PMD for more than a year paid my premiums on time every month and now they are playing delaying tacticts for damages of R 5 500.00, makes me wonder if they can't pay for such small damages what about a writte - off.

PMD has the most poorest customer service in the country, and they have zero percent loyalty to their customers, as I hear from a lady I work with who is struggling with her claim as well that panelbeaters in their network don't want to assist her as they say PMD does not pay them. PMD is a bunch of cheap ****** who need to be exposed of who they are as they are *****ing money from the poor.

I'm in the process of lodging a complaint with Consumer Protector, as well as start a social media campaign making people aware of the dirty tectics that PMD is using to ***** money from the poor of the poorest in our country, which I think is a crime

Hello SamoraNkente,

Thank you for taking the time to raise your concern with us.

Whilst we always endeavour to request all the required information from the onset, allowing us to swiftly finalise our investigation. It sometimes does happen that more documentation is required.

Nonetheless we assure you that we first attempt to source, required claim information without placing the burden on our policyholders. In instances when this is not possible, we greatly rely on the cooperation of our policyholders. Even so we appreciate that the request for information may appear to take up unnecessary time.

Notwithstanding the above, our Client Representation Department has communicated with you in more detail regarding your specific claim via email and our Claims Department has confirmed that they will continue to provide you with feedback as your claim progresses.

Assuring you of our continued best endeavours on your behalf.

Kind Regards,

The PMD Team
