Hello bettykhosa,

We are truly sorry to learn of the unfortunate predicament you are in and understand that a loss never occurs at a convenient moment.

Whilst we do our best not to inconvenience our policyholders by requiring them to take their vehicle for a costly and time-consuming independent pre-inspection before cover will commence, we are unfortunately exposed to a higher than normal degree of risk. To mitigate this risk, all information provided by clients upon submission of a claim needs to be verified and validated by independent sources as far as possible.

Furthermore, taking into consideration the absence of independent witnesses and the fact that circumstances relating to single vehicle incidents are the most difficult to verify and validate, information supp**** by clients need to be verified and validated by other means, as in your case.

Our Claims Department has however confirmed that they will continue to keep you up to date with regard to the progress of your claim.

Assuring you of our continued best endeavours.

Kind Regards,

The PMD Team
