No progress made on claim for a month

I've had an accident Sunday 30/10/2016 and reported the accident to the Police imedietely and to the insurance about 2hours later. i was told to call back on Monday and i did, gave all the information and returned all paperwork on Tuesday. I was told all is in order and i should wait for the claim to be processed. Been waiting since today and i still dont know if my car will be fixed. On Thursday 24/11/2016 i received an sms informing that the technician is on leave from ***. Now its going to be a second month for my claim to be procesed. Meaning i won't even be able to go home and spend holidays with my family. My car is parked obstructng other people since there is no parking space and i dont know what to expect. Just when i thought PMD is the best.money is debited from my account every month but now when i need assistant i dont seem to matter. How long does it take to respond to an emergency? Am i going to see holidays without a car because of an accident that happened in October while i pay insurance?

Hello Nthuse,
We understand how heart-breaking it must be to have incurred a loss so close to the holiday season.
Our aim is to provide world class service to our policyholders during every interaction, and therefore your concern is very important to us.
We endeavour to at all times keep you updated regarding any developments on your claim and so the SMS you received was for information purposes.
You can rest assured that whilst your usual allocated technician is on leave your claim has been reallocated so that the validation may be finalised as soon as possible.
Kind regards,
The PMD Team
