Liable for towing fees!!!
My car tyres and rims got damaged due to rocks on the road. On the 11th of April 2024, I called fir assistance, they towed my car to a service centre, while waiting, I got a response that my claim was rejected because it is not on my policy. It's fine, now I need my car back I am told to pay an amount of R3894.23 for towing fees, yet my claim was rejected!!! How so??? I am extremely frustrated, I pay a monthly premium which I believe road assistance is covered..why am I now liable for towing fees!!! Please assist as I am really not happy for their service and I will definitely not recommend this car insurance company to anyone should I not be assisted!!! And will definitely change to another car insurance immediately!!! This is definitely a reap off!!!
