Lack of Feedback and Customer Service

In December 2025, a client insured by PMD was involved in an accident that resulted in damage to my vehicle. All documentation requested by PMD was submitted in January 2026 and again in February 2026 to ensure that there were no outstanding requirements. Despite this, I am now entering the third month with a damaged vehicle and no resolution or meaningful feedback regarding the progress of the claim.

For the past three weeks, I have been contacting the PMD call centre on a weekly basis in an attempt to obtain an update. Unfortunately, my efforts have been met with little to no assistance. Each time I call, I am advised that no one is available to take my call, including the manager Tigo. I specifically requested a call back from this manager last week; however, I was again informed that they were “in meetings,” and to date I have not received any return call.

Furthermore, my experience with the claims handler, Thandi, has been extremely disappointing. Despite several emails requesting updates, I have not received any response or communication regarding the status of my claim. The lack of professionalism, responsiveness, and accountability in this matter is deeply concerning.

PMD advertises and prides itself on providing quality customer service; however, my experience has unfortunately been the complete opposite. This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing service experiences I have encountered. Based on the manner in which this matter has been handled, it is highly unlikely that I would ever consider taking up insurance with PMD, even if your products were competitively priced.
