Inconvenience
I was involved in an accident. I had to pay the towing and storage fees and to top it all off ,when I called in after the assessor had been to my vehicle, I was told to go fetch my car. Now I have to be reimbursed the amount for the towing and storage and i was told it was subject to the main claim approval. The main claim was approved, went to QA, a requisition made and finally paid out. The towing division seems separate to the main claim division, which would explain why no workflow was initiated to process the towing reimbur*****t while debit orders continue . The main claim has been paid out,and the towing reimbur*****t has only just left for approval. I have lost count on the amount of phone calls I have made, simply because if I don't call, nothing happens. Literally my phone calls initiate work flows. Having said that the main claim wasn't too bad but well it was for a mere R2500. The guy handling my towing reimbur*****t ,well I could just swear right now but I will hold those words back in my head where they are safe and sound. I am not sure whether to blame the employee or the lack of integration with prime meridian's systems.
We appreciate the time you have taken to bring your concern to our attention.
Whilst we are pleased to learn about your satisfaction relating to your main motor vehicle accident claim, we share your disappointment mentioned in the finalisation of your towing claim and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience that this might have caused.
As you are aware, your main claim was indeed finalised and approved prior to your above note.
We confirm however that, as with all our policies, you were not asked to pay any excess amounts on your claims. Moreover, you will not now receive one of those dreaded \premium increase\" letters so common after a claim is paid. Your premiums remain constant and unaffected by your latest claim.
