im not getting what i paid for
My car went in flames while I was on my way home, first it was just smoke comming from my bonnet as I opened it the car was in flames, got a passing car to turn off my car's flame with their extinguisher, thought that was drama I called my insurance Prime Motor Thrift (Prime Meridian Direct) only for the lady on the other side of the call to tell me my policy is cancelled, shocked at this because I paid my premium and my initiation fees on the 16/04/15 this was not the response I expected , and because of my policy being \canceled"I had to make other plans to tow my car off the road"

23 Apr 2015, 07:47Hello Mamidas,
How very unfortunate to have your car burst into flames whilst driving it. Fortunately you were not injured and you had the foresight to take out a policy with us just 3 days beforehand!
Our 24 hour call centre has no record of any call received from you so it is difficult to say with whom you may have spoken. Nonetheless, we are as relieved as you to know that your policy is indeed in force.
You will no doubt also be relieved to know that your vehicle is now in our care. Our Claims Department will be in contact with you shortly to complete the claims process.
Assuring you of our continued best endeavours.
Kind regards
The PMD Team
