I received an insurance quote from an agent named Gcinani, but initially declined it in favor of a better offer elsewhere. However, she later reached out with a revised quote for comprehensive coverage at R879.01, with a reducing excess of R5000. Gcinani assured me that the policy would start immediately after I picked up my new car from the dealer. After collecting my car, I contacted her to finalize the policy, but she said she would wait until the first premium payment cleared before proceeding. Once the payment was processed, Gcinani stopped responding. Despite several follow-up calls, I’ve been told she’s busy and will call back, but I haven’t heard from her since. The lack of communication and follow-through has left me feeling frustrated and concerned. I agreed to the revised policy because Gcinani assured me it would be implemented immediately. However, with the high excess fee, I’m worried that I’m not sufficiently covered in case of an emergency.
