I need PMD to fullfil their obligations
I was hijacked on gun point by some one I know and immediately called the police for assistance but when they arrived my car has already met an incident and it was beyond repairs. I called PMD and reported they came on the scene to tour my vehicle. The following day I lodge a claim of theft but weeks later they refused to pay for my vehicle they said it was domestic dispute. Without considering that the car was hijacked on gun point and I was five months pregnant at the time. Now I am getting calls that I need to collect my car from the insurance storage and I have to pay storage fees. I wonder what has happened to my premiums. Very disappointed

We take pride in quickly approving all valid claims and in the integrity of our claim validation process. We unfortunately cannot provide cover where a claim falls outside of the ambit of cover. Furthermore, according the policy terms and conditions, the accident tow benefit only applies to approved clams.
We have received your complaint from the office of the Ombudsman of Short-Term Insurance (OSTI) regarding this very same matter. In these instances, we are required to direct all communication through the OSTI’s office and are obliged to await the findings of the OSTI which we shall of course respect.
You will be pleased to hear that PMD has a skilled Market Conduct Team that specializes in ensuring that our client's voices are heard
