Horrible by PMD

I am currently insured by PMD, never missed a payment. I was involved in an accident on the 16th of July, when I called the emergency number they told me to tow the car myself then I will claim from them later , strange as it may be I did that. From the day of the accident no one has come to assess the car, its been two weeks since the accident happened and things are still stagnant, they asked me to send pictures of the car which I did and they used the pictrues to assess the damage.. that is ******* !! how can you use pictures to assess the exact damage and come up with how much its going to cost to have the car fixed ? how can you tell the exact damage ?

I think I am being taken for a ride here and I demand answers from PMD. I want this message to be clear, I want my car fixed and PMD must stop this nonsense of saying that they will only payout two thousand rand and I must pay the rest.

you make me feel as if I am driving around without insurance like some sort of irresponsible idiot, What exactly am I paying you for ?

PMD please do yourselves a favour and call me TODAY to sort this mess instead of giving me a run around and asking me for bizarre documents, I have given you everything you need to process this claim, I want to know when your assessor is coming, soon after that I want to know when you going to tow my car to be fixed, that's all I want and lets not get lawyers involved in this, this is a simple claims matter which you can resolve if you have some competency in you.

Reviewer Update

These people are saying that they shall endeavour to resolve my concern within 5 days, all complaints received need to be reviewed and therefore if the 5 days are not sufficient for them to do so they will provide feedback to me within 21 working days of the date of receipt of my initial complaint. Now my concern is during this 21 working days my car will not be attended to despite me them that I use the car daily for going to work, what is really happening with Prime Meridian Direct. I am really upset because I thought I was going to be given good service but instead I have to wait another 21 days on top of the 23 days I've been taken for a ride. No this is not acceptable and I will make sure that I tell everyone about PMD's bad service, I will keep on rating you down until you serve me right.

Hello SnoMzila,

Client service is extremely important to us and we sincerely appreciate the time you have taken to bring your unease to our attention.

Your Prime Motor CoverGROW policy is designed to contribute towards the cost of either repairing motor vehicle accident damage, alternatively to the total loss of your vehicle. At a premium of only R149.00 the benefits increase by R1000 each month that you pay your premium.

A review of your claim revealed that at the time of your accident you had accumulated R2,000.

Consequently, whilst we are deeply sympathetic to your circumstances, all claims are assessed in accordance with the benefits selected.

This enables us to uphold our promise and deliver innovative and affordable product benefits.

Kind regards,

The PMD Team
