FRUSTRATED, DISGUSTED & ANGRY OVER A PMD CLAIM & UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE RENDERED

(CLAIM NO. - CL***) I registered a claim in December 2023 when I had an accident due to an attempted Hi-Jacking. From Day 1 there has been problems, to name a few, the towing was said to be a private towing because I had not contacted Roadside Assistance, after I lodge a formal complaint it was then investigated and proven that i did contact the 'Roadside Assistance'. AGAIN the application of an access, where I was instructed to pay an amount of R16 280. After several complaints they waived an a,mount of R13 280 and I was then given an access of R3000. The panelbeater undertook the repaires and completed however the front headlight fitted/installed was a USED PART authorized by PMD and sourced from D & H Auto Parts. , Then the panelbeater advised PMD and they authorised that the vehicle be taken to Durban Auto Electrical for diagnosis. They could not fix the problem, to be precise there was a problem with 'CODING A MODULAR' whilst the vehicle was booked to them for approx. a week. Then the panelbeater booked the vehicle to NMI-uMhlanga for the vehicle to be 'CODED'. Only to find that at NMI when the run the diagnosis tests, the Headlight was not working. Now they're refusing to make payment for the work to be undertaken by NMI claiming that they did not authorized the to be taken to NMI. They have authorized for the light to be purchased from NMI however they want the Headlight to be fitted by the Panelbeater, OK fair enough! but the CODING still needs to be done by NMI of which when coding the bumper and other parts needs to be stripped in order to get to the MODULAR at the front for coding. They are now refusing to pay for 'Stripping & Assemble'. The Panelbeater had NO choice whatsoever, because the electricians that were authourized FAILED. And the intention for the vehicle to be booked for NMI was solely for CODING of which then all the other faults were discovered. I AM FRUSTRATED & ANGRY for the unprofessional & poor service I am receiving from this insurance. TODAY YOU DEAL WITH THIS PARTICULAR PERSON AND TOMORROW ITS A DIFFERENT PERSON AND WE ARE NOT AFFORDED AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLAIN SO THAT THEY MAY ARRIVE AT A MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING & MAKE CORRECT DECISION. SOMETIMES I FEEL THAT PERHAPS ITS BECAUSE OF THE COLOUR OF MY SKIN HENCE I AM BEING TREATRED AS SUCH. To say the least if this headlight was fitted and worked then I collect the vehicle from the Panelbeater and drive for a couple of weeks then it becomes non-functional it would have been my problem to fix!?! They now say they want retract the authorization for the Headlight to be purchased from NMI-uMhlanga and source it somewhere else! that is when I said let me come here because I feel this is totally unacceptable and the unnecessary delays I have been enduring all this time and poor service I am receiving from this insurance (Prime Meridian Direct).
