False advertising ever!

We've joined Prime Meridian last year Nov. Now I was involved in an accident and after 2 weeks after I've submitted my claim they told me that they will write off and take the car and give me the premiums that I've paid which is R5000. I've asked them why are they going to take the car because I mean the money that they going to give it to me it's not even the value of my car. They told me that they are not comprehensive insurance & that is the way they are going to do it. I mean the value of my car is around R18 000 and they want to give me only R5000. What can I do with R5000. <br> I mean they can give me that R5000 to fix my car and I will pay whatever is the difference for the repairs. I don't know what is so difficult with that.<br> They said another option is to withdrawn the claim. I mean if this is the way they work with people they are ripping them off because and the end of the day they are the one scoring. What about their customers that they thought they are insured ? So all in all I will walk out away with R5000 and loose R13000 because they are going to sell my car with more than R5000 that they are going to give it me. I am so dissapointed with them<br> <br>
